OUR FUNDRAISING
Pay it Forward fundraising challenges come in many shapes and sizes. Here are a few of our fundraising events:
SLEEP UNDER THE STARS
Set up during the summer of 2021, in response to periods of 'lockdown' during the pandemic, Sleep Under the Stars aimed to help us continue raising money safely, whilst creating memorable moments for families during a difficult time.
The event calls for families to pitch tents in their gardens and build dens in their indoor spaces in order to 'Sleep Under the Stars'. Families pay a small donation to take part.
As part of the event and a 'thank you' for supporting us, we provide bedtime stories, read by incredible authors, public figures, and actors.

FUNDRAISING ON A WELSH MOUNTAIN
In the Summer of 2019, a group of family and friends scaled Pen Y Fan Mountain 10 times in 24 hours to raise funds for Spectopolis - Pay it Forward.
AN EXTRA-LONG WALK ALONG THE GOWER COASTLINE
In the Summer of 2016, a group of family and friends walked 100kms of Gower coastline in 24 hours to raise funds for Spectropolis - Pay it Forward.
THE MAKING OF A DOCUMENTARY: LOOK INSIDE THE RAINBOW
In collaboration with the National Autistic Society - Swansea Branch and videographer, Viktorija Kilikeviciute, we produced a documentary that focused on the many faces and stories of autism. We hoped to capture the experiences of autistic individuals, parents and caregivers, and professionals who support them. The story shared some difficult moments but left us all feeling hopeful that a positive change was coming.
Money raised from screenings of the documentary was shared between the National Autistic Society - Swansea Branch and Spectropolis - Pay it Forward.
